28 pin, 16 bit microcontroller with 64K of flash from Microchip
Microchip Technology has released new members of PIC24F family of 16 bit microcontroller with 64 K of built in flash memory but in a 28 pin 6x6 mm QFN package. The on-board memory of 64 K is high compared to similar other products. Wondering how to connect various peripherals to this low pin count device! This microcontroller is provided with a peripheral pin select, to enable designers to use the available pins in the exact manner they like. The applications targeted are security systems, heating control, audio equipment, automotive, instrumentation, and industrial systems.
The other features are, independent channels of I2C, UART and SPI communications. The source code of this MCU is compatible with other PIC24H and dsPIC33 families from Microchip.
