Maxim has released new digital pot with temp sensor

DS3501 is a new 7 bit non-volatile digital potentiometer featuring an output voltage up to 15.5 V. It packs temperature sensor, an ADC, and a Lookup Table (LUT). All this comes at a cost closer to standard Digi-pot. The Lookup Table (LUT) output can be added to a non-volatile Initial Value Register (IVR) or can replace the IVR to define the i/p to a 7 bit linear r-string digipot. The suitable applications for this device are LCD panels, optical transceivers, and industrial control systems. Has a I2C interface to program the chip.
