Hynix 512MB mobile DDR SDRAM works at 185 MHz

Hynix has successfully developed 185MHz, 512MB mobile DDR SDRAM with Error Correction Code (ECC). The ECC feature ensures data integrity. A throughput of 1.5 Gbytes of data per second is possible due to it's record clock speed of 185MHz. The lower consumption is achieved by extending the refresh interval. The other power saving features provided are low power supply voltage, temperature compensated self refresh(TCSR), partial array self refresh(PASR), and deep power down modes.

The product is not immediately available. The samples are expected in early 3Q07 and mass volumes to follow a little later.
