Holtek's new microcontroller with built in LCD Driver

The new microcontroller HT49CU80 from Holtek has 188 pixel LCD driver. The other features available in this device are, 31 I/O pins, 16 level stack, 8-bit timer, two 16-bit timer, time base function, and has two external interrupt pins. It has onchip memory of 16K of program memory and 576 bytes of data memory. In power down mode, the LCD panel can keep functioning. The users can select a compatible LCD driver to match their application LCD panel size and by using RAM mapping for the LCD data. There is also full duplex asynchronous UART function whose baud rate is software controllable and automatically detectable flag function.
This microcontroller is of industrial grade and comes in 100 pin QFP package.
The targeted applications are weight measurement, house-hold utilities metering, home appliances, and medical hand-held equipment.
