Fairchild's new FET Multi-Chip Module packs driver with N-channel MOSFETs

Fairchild's FDMF8700 has three N-channel MOSFETs and 12 Volt FET driver IC all in one package. This integrated subsystems saves board space and cost of your design. While operating high side MOSFETs are optimized for fast switching and low side MOSFETs are optimized for low RDS(on). This arrangement is suitable for bringing down high 12V DC voltage to 1.0 -1.2 V for processor cores by using low duty cycle.
The driver and MOSFETS are optimized to improve efficiency by 2% in comparison to discrete solutions.
The design is according to Intel DrMOS Vcore DC-DC converter standard specs.
FDMF8700 is available in 56-pin (8 mm x 8 mm) MLP package.
