CTS Corp releases new resistor chip array in 0201 package

CTS Corp. has packed two isolated resistors in a tiny package of 0201 (.085" long x .060" wide). This product called as 740 Series, has a resistance range of 10 ohms to 1Meg ohm. The tolerance of each resistor is 5%. The maximum operating voltage is 50V.
740 Series is targeted at all the space-limited applications such as media players, cell phones, and notebooks.
Today, every semiconductor component shrinking in size but passives try hard to shrink to these tiny-sizes. The technology trend is to minimize use of passive components to lowest levels, if at all required, only use very small size and low cost passives.
