Multichannel EMI filters in leadless low form-factor package from Vishay

Vishay has released to market a new series of EMI filters with 4, 6, and 8 channels. The series coded as VEMIX5AA (X stand for number of channels) comes in compact LLP leadless package with dimensions of 0.6mm height and pin to pin pitch width of 0.4mm. If your handheld systems is prone to EMI noise and the space is very critical, these parts are highly recommended.

These filters can attenuate the unwanted signals in the frequency range of 900 MHz up to 2.3 GHz frequency range by more than 30dB. They offer a line resistance of 100 ohms and input capacitance of 60pf. Vishay also says it's leakage current is low.

They work as per as per IEC 61000 4 2 (ESD) at 30 kV (air and contact discharge) and IEC 61000 4 5 (lightning) from 4 A (tp = 8/20µs).
