Enhanced screw-terminal power aluminum capacitors from Vishay

Vishay has enhanced its 101/102 PHR-ST screw-terminal power aluminum capacitors with 90-mm x146-mm, 76-mm x220-mm, and 90-mm x220-mm case sizes, and 13-mm terminals. As polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors with a non-solid electrolyte, the 101/102 PHR-ST devices are suitable for dc-link capacitors in high-power switched mode converters and energy storage in pulsed power applications.

New large cases sizes allow for additional high capacitance/voltage combinations from 1 F at 25 V to 10,000 µF at 450 V
Offer a high rated ripple current to 49.1 A at + 85 °C, and a long useful life of 10,000 h to 15,000 h at + 85 °C
Compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC

The suggested applications of the 101/102 PHR-ST aluminum capacitors are buffering and filtering, motor drives, inverters, UPS and traction system applications.
