Eurotech has launched the Catalyst LP, a new compact, low-power embedded system based on the Intel Atom processors N450, D410 and D510. The Catalyst LP embedded system offers high-performance graphics for applications requiring 2-D and 3-D visualization with high-resolution graphics capabilities, including digital signage. The Catalyst LP is suitable for industrial, medical, gaming, human-machine interface applications.

The key features of Eurotech's Catalyst LP are,

Compact 67x100mm form factor, flexibility in allowing migration to Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and multicore technology (with the dual-core Intel Atom processor D510)
Low-power design with Eurotech microcontroller-based power management system
Supports Windows CE, Windows Embedded Standard and Wind River Linux 3.0 operating systems

Eurotech says, with a common footprint, the Catalyst LP system is easily scalable and allows existing Catalyst Module customers to migrate to the new Intel Atom processors N450, D410, or D510 with minimal effort.
