PSC series of RF spiral inductors from Vishay for wire bonded assemblies
Vishay has released a new PSC series of RF spiral inductors, which are designed for RFcircuits that require wire bondable components such as impedance tuning circuits, lumped element filters, hybrid RF integrated circuits in communications systems, and test and measurement instrumentation. The suitable applications for the RF spiral inductors are RF choking for DC biasing, RF tuning circuits and lumped element filters.
PSC series of RF spiral inductors enable accurate computer simulation of component performance, and featuring a low DCR, high Q, low parasitic capacitance, high SRF and a wide range of inductance values from 1 nH to 100 nH in a compact size measuring 0.045 in. by 0.045 in. by 0.010 in.
The PSC devices combine low parasitic capacitance and DCR to 0.26 Ohm with high SRF to 10.2 GHz and Q to 13 at 250 MHz and 18 at 1000 MHz, and offer power handling to 250 mW.
