Low capacitance PicoGuard ESD protection device from CMD
CMD has introduced the CM1227, a new low capacitance PicoGuard electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection device that consisting of four channels of ESD protection targeting consumer, computer and related peripheral devices using high speed interfaces such as USB3.0, MIPI, eSATA, DisplayPort and FireWire.
The key features of the CM1227 device are,
Low channel input capacitance of 0.35pF
ESD protection for transition minimized differential signaling channels
Four channels of industry leading 15 kV contact discharge ESD protection per IEC61000-4-2 Level 4
Channel input capacitance matching of 0.02pF (typ), suitable for differential signals
Minimal capacitance change within operating voltage range
Each I/O pin can withstand over 1000 ESD strikes
The suggested applications for the CM1227 device include digital TVs, set top boxes, PCs and PC peripherals, IEEE1394 FireWire ports, and general purpose high speed data line ESD protection.
The CM1227 is based on CMD's PicoGuard line of ESD protection products, providing low levels of capacitance, dynamic resistance, clamping voltage and insertion loss.
Package: 10 pin microUDFN package (2.5mm X 1.0mm)
