Hardware security modules with PCI-Express Gen2 connectivity
Cavium Networks has unveiled the FIPS 140-2 level 2 and 3 certified hardware security module, a member of NITROX XL CN16XX-NFBE Adapter family with PCI-Express Gen2 connectivity in a low profile form factor and integrated Network Interface Card (NIC) functionality.
The new NITROX XL NFBE family offers up to 45,000 RSA operations per second and 5 Gbps performance and is certified to the stringent US government security standards.
This product family is suitable for financial, government and healthcare vertical markets. The NITROX XL adapters are being integrated into a wide range of equipment including Remote Access Servers, Public Key Infrastructure, Database Servers, Web Servers, L4+ Switches, Load Balancers, Networking/Server Appliances and Unified Threat Management Appliances
Cavium Networks NITROX XL NFBE FIPS 140-2 level 2 and 3 adapters perform all asymmetric and symmetric key management within the tamper proof enclosure. The functions include secure user login/authentication, user-authorized key creation/deletion, on-card key storage, and secure off-card key archiving/sharing.
The NITROX XL NFBE family is offered to customers as production-ready Adapters with extensive software support.
