High-speed low power 16 × 16 buffered crosspoint switch IC from ADI
Analog Devices has expanded the portfolio of high-speed analog switch ICs with the introduction of the ADV32xx family of 16 × 16 buffered crosspoint switches and buffered multiplexers for Pro-AV switching and distribution system applications such as video conferencing and digital signage.
The ADV3226 and ADV3227 deliver 50 percent less power at 1.2 W from a ±5 V supply and a 55 percent increase in speed at 700 MHz high bandwidth. The new family of multiplexers, the 2 to 1 ADV3219 and ADV3220 and the 4 to 1 ADV3221 and ADV3222 also offer the high bandwidth at 650 MHz. These buffered crosspoint switches and muxes are ideal for Pro-AV routing applications that require efficient, reliable switching of multiple video sources including composite, HD component and S-Video.
