Wireless N VDSL modem router with single CPE solution for HDTV and Multimedia apps
Actiontec Electronics has announced that its Q1000H Wireless N VDSL Modem Router that packs in a wireless N radio, Gigabit Ethernet LAN and WAN support, dual-core 32-bit processor, support for HPNA (LAN and WAN), and memory architecture (32MB Flash, 64MB SDRAM). The Q1000H reduces capital and operational costs for carriers and offers a single CPE solution for their entire network.

The Q1000H features a glitch-free experience for HDTV, standard TV, voice, media sharing, online gaming, and other multimedia applications. The Q1000H modem supports HPNA 3.1 on both the WAN (carrier) and LAN (home networking) side. HPNA technology transforms existing coax cables and phone lines into high-speed connections with speeds over 100 Mbps, and ensuring the quality levels needed for broadcast quality IPTV.
The device features integrated support for 802.11n, with performance speeds six times faster than earlier standards. The Q1000H also features MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) smart antenna technology that improves overall home coverage with few dead spots. Also includes a customizable firewall with Stateful Packet Inspection, denial of service protection, content filtering, intrusion detection, plus WPA/WPA2 and WEP wireless encryption to keep unwanted visitors from accessing the home network
