Digital to synchro/resolver PC-104 transformer cards from DDC with magnetic isolation

Data Device Corporation has released the SB-36341/2CX-2A0N, a new digital to synchro/resolver PC-104 transformer cards that offers magnetic isolation in 90V 400Hz synchro applications, which is suitable for the naval applications.

The SB-36341/2CX-2A0N series cards will connect with the SB-36320 PC-104 series synchro output cards.

The SB-36320 is a versatile PC-104 card, that contains up to 2 channels of digital-to-synchro (D/S) or digital-to-resolver (D/R) converters. For each channel the conversion process is implemented using DSC-11520, DSC-11524 or DR-11525 series DDC converters. And the SB-36320CX is designed for modern, high-performance industrial and military control systems and test systems. The suggested applications include ATE, displays, and pointing applications.

The transformer card is ruggedized with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is conformal coated.

"This card will offer designers a solution for true magnetic isolation in 90V 400Hz synchro applications, which is often a requirement in naval applications," stated DDC's Product Manager, Roger Tomassi.
