T-DMB mobile TV receiver with built-in dc/dc converter from GCT Semiconductor

GCT Semiconductor has launched the GDM7024, a high performance single-chip mobile TV receiver with built-in DC/DC converter developed for the Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) market in Korea.

The GDM7024 offers the small form factor, 3.8 x 3.8 mm, and small BOM with limited number of passive components.

"By integrating the DC/DC converter into our T-DMB receiver, we are offering a much smaller form factor and cost reduction that will allow our customers to be more competitive on the market," commented Dr. Kyeongho "KH" Lee, President and CEO of GCT Semiconductor.
