New test equipment from Hermon Labs for acoustic testing for wireless handsets

Hermon Laboratories TI has announced the release of TCA 4100, a test equipment for telecom and acoustic testing for wireless handsets (GSM and UMTS). The TCA 4100 controls and measures the tests according to acoustic standards (TS 51.010-1, TS 26.131/2) and complies with the GCF and PTCRB approval specifications and validated by an independent test house. Customers can create test reports for measurements according to 3GPP TS 26 131 and TS 51.010, which include a statement that the test results have been achieved on a GCF/PTCRB-approved test platform.

The key features of the TCA 4100 are,

Built-in test suites for supported standards and automated implementation of user-defined test parameters, manual operation for development and debugging testing as well for production testing is also available.
Detailed reports are automatically generated in MS Word format.
Added acoustic testing for Bluetooth, WI-FI, PESQ/MOS/TMOS, and VOIP.
Handsfree Testing.
