Maxim's 3V voltage reference for battery-operated applications
Maxim has introduced the MAX6010, a new precision micropower voltage reference that offers a high PSRR of 51dB (typ) at 2kHz for electrically noisy environments, it has a low 200mV dropout voltage, a ultra-low 3µA (typ) supply current that is virtually independent of supply voltage and suitable for portable and battery-operated applications such as battery-monitoring systems and lens image stabilization in high-end digital SLR cameras.
The MAX6010's operating input voltage ranges from 3.2V to 5.5V, and has an output of 3.0V. The reference has an initial accuracy of ±0.2% (A grade) and ±0.4% (B grade), temperature drift of 16ppm/°C (typ).
The suggested applications for MAX6010 IC includes battery-operated equipment, data-acquisition systems, industrial and process-control systems, Lens image stabilization, and
portable equipment.
