1.0 W, 300 K-Ohms Bulk Metal Z-Foil axial-lead resistors

Vishay has introduced the enhanced VTAZ series of ultra-high-precision Bulk Metal Z-Foil axial-lead resistors offers 1.0 W power, resistance values to 300 K-Ohms, and delivers high accuracy, precision, and stability in fixed resistor applications

The key features are,

Better load-life stability of ± 0.005 % (50 ppm) at + 70 °C for 2000 hours at rated power
0.01 % of tolerance
Provides a low absolute TCR
Because of its minimal shift in resistance this resistor series eliminates the control and correction circuitry

A proprietary Bulk Metal Foil element with known and controllable properties is applied to a ceramic substrate. A resistive pattern is then photoetched by an ultra-fine technique and the devices' etched planar construction results low and reproducible reactance needed for high-frequency and pulse applications.

The VTAZ devices offer electrostatic discharges up to 25 kV for increased reliability, and also offer a non-inductive (< 0.08 µH), non-capacitive design.

Operating temperature range: - 55 °C to + 125 °C
