150mA/300mA LDO regulators from Diodes

Diodes Inc has introduced the AP731x and AP733x, a new 150mA and 300mA CMOS Low Drop Out (LDO) linear regulators that drive low ESR (equivalent series resistance) 1µF Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs) to improve control loop stability and transient response. The suggested applications include XDSL routers, wireless LAN cards, desktop and notebook computers, mouse and keyboard products, and battery powered equipment.

The AP731x and AP733x operate from an input voltage range from 2V to 6V that addresses both fixed and adjustable output voltage requirements. Fixed output voltage LDOs cover the range between 1.0V and 3.3V, while adjustable devices support the output voltage range from 0.8V to 5V.

The other key features are,
Built-in over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection improves circuit robustness and reliability.
Low quiescent current of 55µA
Specified output accuracy of 2%.

Operating temperature range: -40ºC to 85ºC.
