Integrated 3-Channel video filter from Fairchild Semiconductor

Fairchild has introduced the new FMS6303, an integrated video filter that supports the 1080p High Definition LCD-TVs, Blue Ray DVD players and set-top boxes. It is intended to replace passive LC filters and drivers with a low-cost integrated device. The FMS6303 supports three channels offer a selectable frequency response of 8, 16, 32, or 65MHz.

The FMS6303 also offers a robust 8kV of ESD protection to protect applications from adverse electrostatic discharge and eliminates the need for discrete protection devices, and allows the inputs and outputs to be AC or DC coupled, reducing up to six components.
