Dual-channel, bipolar-input audio operational amplifier from TI
TI has introduced the OPA1612, a dual-channel, bipolar-input audio operational amplifier that supports multiple channels without power consumption in applications such as professional audio and broadcast studio equipment, microphone pre-amplifiers, analog and digital mixing consoles, high-end A/V receivers and audio test and measurement equipment.
The key features and specifications of the OPA1612 are,
Bipolar input achieves low 1.1-nV square root Hz noise density with an ultra-low distortion of 0.000015 percent at 1 kHz to enable clear, crisp audio
Wide supply operation range of +/-2.25 V to +/-18 V from 3.6 mA of supply current per channel provides dynamic behavior over a wide range of load conditions
Independent circuitry delivers low crosstalk and freedom from interactions between
channels, even when overdriven or overloaded
Rail-to-rail output swing to within 600 mV with a 2 K Ohm load increases headroom and maximizes dynamic range
Better connectivity to TI audio converters (PCM17xx and PCM16xx) and microphone preamplifiers (PGA2500 and PGA2505)
Provides low noise, distortion and quiescent current
Package: SO-8 package
Price: Each $2.75 for 1k pieces
