New IC with ESD protection and level shifting for HDMI high-speed audio/video

ST Microelectronics has introduced the HDMI2C1-5DIJ, a new IC that simplifies the design of HDMI-compliant connections for high-definition set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, game consoles and HDTVs.

The HDMI2C1-5DIJ is a plug and play device, which is integrated with ESD protection, level-shifting device and signal booster for control links of HDMI 1.3 transmitters.
