IAR Systems Embedded Workbench tool for ARM Cortex-M0, -M1, -M3 cores

IAR Systems has made available of its Embedded Workbench for ARM Cortex-M0, -M1, -M3 cores that provides a set of tools in a single package based on the new full license edition of IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM 5.40. This package includes an editor, project management tools, a highly optimizing C and C++ compiler, and a C-SPY simulator. Other tools include hardware-debugging functions, support for RTOS-aware debugging on hardware, run-time libraries, relocating assembler, linker and librarian tools.

IAR says, the ready-made device configuration files, flash loaders and example projects are also included in the package, and the complier can check against the rules of MISRA C (MISRA C: 2004) software development standard as established by the Motor Industry Software Reliability Association. An evaluation edition of IAR PowerPac RTOS, file system, USB stack and a TCP/IP stack bundles in included within the package. IAR RTOS plugins are available from IAR Systems and other leading RTOS vendors.
