ADI's new family of microprocessor supervisory ICs for handheld/portable apps
Analog Devices has announced the expansion of its supervisory ICs with new ADM6326, ADM6328, ADM6346 and ADM6348 microprocessor supervisory circuits for monitoring under-voltage conditions in handheld industrial instruments, telecommunication devices, and other portable applications.
The key features of these supervisory circuits are,
500-nA supply current
Accurate monitoring of 2.5-V, 3-V, 3.3-V, and 5-V rails.
Provides a reset output during power-up, power-down and brownout conditions.
Power-on reset pulse width of 100 ms minimum
Reset thresholds of 2.2 V to 4.63 V
2 reset output options
Push-pull RESET (ADM6326/ADM6346)
Open-drain RESET (ADM6328/ADM6348)
Glitch immunity from negative-going VCC transients
The reset output remains operational with VCC as low as 1 V
The ADM6326, ADM6328, ADM6346 and ADM6348 supervisory circuits are compatible with ADI's ADP2503 and ADP2504 dc-to-dc converters, ADP2121 switching regulator, and the ADP121 LDO.
