New audio amplifier ICs for electronic, portable applications from Intersil
PIntersil has introduced ISL99201/02, two new audio amplifier ICs featuring low power consumption, small size, and high RF immunity. These audio amplifiers are suitable for
SmartPhones, PDAs, game consoles, MP3 and personal media players, personal navigation devices and LCD TV applications.
The ISL99201is a small class D amplifier with a micro-power shutdown mode, a typical shutdown current of 200nA. It is ideal for mobile phone applications.
The ISL99202 is a small stereo capfree headphone amplifier, and supports 16 ohm to 600-ohm speaker impedance with low power consumption by low Iqq and current shutdown. And it is ideal for mobile battery-powered applications that use 2 AA or single cell Li-Ion batteries, as well as in notebook computers using 3.3V to 5V power supplies.
