Semtech's new DC-DC step down buck regulator ICs

Semtech has announced the three new small form-factor buck (step down) DC-DC regulators SC4626, SC189 and SC183, which are suitable for the applications in a wide range of printer, networking, medical and other systems.

Key features are,

2.9 V to 5.5 V input voltage range
Fixed VOUT options (1.0 V to 3.3 V) or adjustable
Available in 1.0 A, 1.5 A and 2.0 A output current
2.5 MHz switching frequency (above ADSL2+ band)
100% duty cycle, low drop-out operation
Over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection
Four VID pins to select from sixteen different output voltages (SC183 Only)
Dynamic voltage scaling (SC183 Only)
Start-up into pre-bias loads

Package: 2x2x0.6 mm MLPD-UT6, 3x3x0.6 mm MLPQ-UT16 or SOT23-5 package.
