Triple-output DC/DC module packs both switching and LDO regulators

Linear has released the new LTM4615, a triple-output DC/DC Module (micro-sized) regulator system with two 4A switch mode regulators and one 1.5A very low dropout (VLDO) linear regulator. The output voltage for these two switching regulators are adjustable from 0.8V to 5V, and the third output from LDO is adjustable from 0.4V to 2.6V,which makes it suitable for low voltage multiple-rail 65nm and 45nm digital ICs.


The LTM4615 includes inductors, capacitors, and DC/DC controllers, MOSFETs components for devising a triple output point-of-load regulators and are encapsulated, protected within the plastic surface mount LGA package.

The LTM4615 have +/-2% total DC output error (switch-mode regulators) and +/-1% error (VLDO), which include errors introduced by the reference voltage, line and load regulation.

Operating temperature range: -40ºC to 125ºC.
