SC70 packaged op amp consumes little power of 0.55 microwatt

National Semiconductor has launched a new nanopower operational amplifier consuming a power of only 552 nanowatts (0.55 uW) with guaranteed operation down to 1.6V. The suggested applications for this device are wireless remote sensors, power-line monitoring, and micropower oxygen and gas sensors.

Key features and specs:

Operated from a supply voltage range of 1.6V to 5.5V at supply current of 0.4 uA.
Accepts input signals 100 mV beyond each rail, enabling direct connection to several sensor types.
Maximum input offset voltage (Vos) of 1 mV and 3.5 uV per degree C of input offset voltage drift (TCVos)

Features electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filters.

This op amp offers power-to-performance ratio of 65 uA per MHz.

Price: Each 65 cents for 1K pieces
