Intel Core2 Duo processor based fanless industrial embedded board from IEI

IEI has introduced the TANK-GM45A fanless embedded system for wide temperature environments. It is powered by Intel Core2 Duo processor and Intel GM45 chipset and has a 2 GB of DDR2 memory. It supports MPEG-2 Decoding, WMV9 (VC-1) and H.264 (AVC) formats. The TANK-GM45A is suggested for surveillance and security system application.

The TANK-GM45A has a 2.5" SATA flash disk. The IEI IFD 2.5" SSD supporting SATA SLC solutions features anti-vibration and low power consumption. SSD not only performs more IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) than HDD, but also can be operated in harsh conditions with high reliability due to the lack of moving components.

The TANK-GM45A can be deployed into a Digital Security Surveillance (DSS) system to provide high video resolution, high performance and low power consumption. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor enables the TANK-GM45A to accelerate the video-capture processing. The fanless design of TANK-GM45A reduces noise. Dual on-board Gigabit Ethernet connectors provide connectivity to data networks and also high-speed IP camera connectivity. The TANK-GM45A consists uses recovery software from IEI called One Key Recovery. One Key Recovery creates a full system backup on demand and enables system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click thus providing enabling system recovery after an unexpected system failure.

Operating temperature range: -20ºC up to 70ºC
