30W, 24V, DIN power supply from TDK-Lambda

TDK-Lambda has unveiled the DSP30-24/277A a DIN rail-mount power supply that operates off a wide range of AC input voltages, ranging from a nominal 100 to 277VAC. It is rated at 30-watts and provides a 24V DC output at 1.25A and is adjustable from 24V to 28V DC. It is only 2.2 inches deep and thus is suggested for installations in shallow enclosures commonly used in building, automation and security applications.

The DSP30-24/277A has front panel potentiometer and front mounted LED indicators that give a visual indication of output status (Green LED=ON, Red LED=DC Output Low). It also provides a 24V peak-peak square wave output in sync with the AC line frequency, which can be used as a system clock for timing applications. This sync signal along with the positive and negative output lines are provided by the supplied 3-pin AMP connector (P/N 3-640427-3).

The power supplies feature a universal input thus allowing operation from any AC input voltage between 90 to 304VAC, 47 to 63Hz. The units are Class II Double-Insulated thus earth ground wire is not required. It has an Operating efficiency of 87% (typ) for this supply. This power supply is approved to UL60950-1, EN60950-1 and evaluated to NEC NFPA70 Class 2 Output per UL1310. Units carry the CE Mark and are RoHS-compliant.

Package: enclosed in a plastic case measuring just 2.09"W x 3.76"H x 2.19"D.
