3 new low capacitance multi-line RC EMI filters by AOS

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor has released three new multi-line RC EMI filters, the AOZ8040, AOZ8043, and AOZ8045. AOS says that it provide integrated EMI and RF filtering solutions for high speed wireless data applications such as smart phones, 3G-enabled notebook PCs and eBook readers.

The AOZ804x product family includes devices with 8, 6, and 4 channels of EMI filtering. It leverages AOS' [TVS] 2 technology (Transient Voltage Suppression utilizing Trench Vertical Structures). It also consists of integrated ESD diodes rated at ±20kV, exceeding the IEC61000-4-2 specification of ±8kV contact and ±15kV air. Thse products provide filter attenuation performance of -20dB at 1GHz and a high cut-off frequency of 250MHz, offering a low capacitance of 9pF.
