Compact ceramic fuses of current rating 315mA and 500mA from Littlefuse

Littelfuse has released new 508 Series of compact ceramic-body fuses for high-energy applications. 6.3x32mm measuring cylindrical fuses have circuit interrupting capacity of 10kA at 1000V AC/DC. 508 Series are suggested for use in multimeter and other such measuring instruments to protect sensitive electronic circuits from short circuits and high-energy fault currents.

Littlefuse says 508 Series open quickly and safely to protect compact circuits and equipment under very high fault application conditions.

The 508 Series comes in two operating current ratings of 315mA and 500mA. These lead-free and RoHS-compliant devices are recognized under the component programs of the UL and CSA agencies.
