4G LTE and 3G HSPA+ power amplifiers from Anadigics

Anadigics is sampling new set of multi-mode power amplifiers (PAs) designed for wireless datacards and mobile phones supporting 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) and advanced HSPA+ technologies. These new single-band PAs feature patented HELP (High-Efficiency-at-Low-Power) technology making them suitable for USB modules and low power consuming mobile handsets.

ANADIGICS' new HELP4 LTE power amplifier family includes the ALT6701, ALT6702, ALT6704, ALT6712 and ALT6713 products covering UMTS and LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 12 and 13 adopted most of the regions in the world.

Key specs and features:
ALT6701, ALT6702, ALT6704, ALT6712 and ALT6713 are packaged in a 10-pin 3x3x1 (mm).
Feature lowest quiescent current of 3mA
Characterized under 16-QPSK, 64-QAM and HSPA+ modulations.
An integrated "daisy chainable" directional coupler with 20dB directivity is included inside the package.
This family offers three mode states to maximize power-added efficiency at several power levels during the operation of an LTE handset.
