P-channel 30-V MOSFET with 2.6-milli ohms for portable electronics systems

Vishay Intertechnology has released 30 Volts p-channel power MOSFET in the SO-8 package with maximum on-resistance down to 2.6 milli ohms at a 10 Volts gate drive and 3.75 milli ohms at 4.5 Volts gate drive. Vishay claims this new Siliconix Si7145DP, latest member of its TrenchFET Gen III p-channel family, achieves the lowest on-resistance compared to any other MOSFET available in the market with this voltage rating and footprint.

Si7145DP is suggested as the adaptor switch and for load switching applications in notebook computers and industrial/general systems.

Samples and production quantities of the RoHS compliant Si7145DP are available now, with lead times of 10 to 12 weeks for larger orders.
