Texas Instruments new headphone amplifier for cellphone and media players.

TPA6130A2 is a new charge pump based head phone amplifier from Texas Instruments.This IC is featured with high PSRR OF 109dB, low quiescent current of 4 mA and differential stereo inputs makes your audio design with less noise disturbances and save few more milliwatts of power.

Targeted applications are cellphones, mp3players, and any such portable pocket fitting audio/media gadgets.
The charge pump based headphone amplifier family is called DirectPath, means they provide direct path between the amplifier and speaker to eliminate DC blocking capacitors. The common mode noise is not let in to output due to it’s differential inputs.
