Dual buck type DC/DC converters to deliver 3A with wide input voltage range

Linear Technology has released LT3501EFE; a dual DC/DC converter IC with current rating of 3A and input voltage range of 3.3V to 25V. This converter can work up to a maximum switching frequency of 1.5 MHz and can be synchronized to external clock, The phase shift of 180 Degree is maintained between channels to reduce ripple and to have a small input filter capacitor.

Internal 0.8V reference.
Outputs can be paralleled
Independent control of the two built in switching regulators
Maximum duty cycle of 95%.
