International Rectifier's class D audio chipset to cut on board part count.

International Rectifier has released a audio driver IC and audio MOSFET for mid range and high power audio amplifiers in applications such as home theatre, professional amplifiers, musical instruments, and automotive audio.
The audio driver IC, IRS20955 has floating 3.3V/5V logic-compatible, PWM input and can work on half bridge/full bridge topology and dual/single power supply. The device integrates bi-directional current sensing feature to sense exact point of switching and has built in protection control logic. With so much on chip features, IRS20955 saves significant board space and external components.
This 200V chip also has preset internal deadtime generation to ensure accurate gate switching timing.
The accompanied half-bridge N-channel MOSFET, IRFI4024Hx has on resistance of 48 mOhms and features reverse recovery diode, and optimized gate charge.
