Neomagic's TV companion chip for mobile phones.

Neomagic has come out with a new TV companion chip called NeoMobileTV for the growing market of TV on mobile phones. The video and audio are delivered to speaker and LCD of mobile phones at low power consumption levels. It supports all the major standards related to mobile TV such as ISDB-T, T-DMB, E-DMB, DVB-H and MediaFlo. Works well with all the major TV tuners and demodulators.
Along with the silicon, Neomagic provides software, hardware, and reference designs for developers. Inside the chip there is a multimedia engine that uses an array processing architecture to deliver power efficiency and performance. Mutimedia engine is fully programmable and can support H.264, H.263, WMV, MPEG-4, and DivX video decoding at frame rates up to 30 frames/sec. There is one special feature called "LCD pass-through" to provide a highly power efficient usage model in future phone designs.
