Linear's new LTC1859 ADC with programmable input ranges.

The LTC1859 from Linear Technology is a 16-bit, 8-channel, 100ksps analog-to-digital converter offering software programmable input ranges through SPI serial bus and are fault-protected to ±25V. It is programmable through a serial interface to accept I/P voltage ranges as 0V-5V, 0V-10V, ±5V and ±10V. The 16-bit conversion makes this device strongly suitable for high-resolution applications such as instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial process control. Built in multiplexer is configurable to accept 4 different inputs, 8 single ended inputs or combination of both. LTC1859 provides DC performance of 15-bit no missing codes over temperature and +/-3LSBMAX INL. The LTC1859 offers two power down modes, one where power dissipation drops to 27.5milliwatts with reference active which is called nap mode and other where power dissipation drops to 40 microwatts with the reference completely powered down and is called sleep mode. These are available in commercial and industrial temperature ranges. It has a temperature coefficient of ±10ppm/°C.
If you already using LTC1857 (12 bit) and LTC1858 (14 bit) ADC; improved resolution and all the advantages of this new ADC LTC1859 can be applied to your design, just by replacing the chip without any change in board design due to their pin compatibility.

Have a note of these other features listed below too,
On-Board 2.5V Reference
Auto Shutdown Between Conversions Reduces Power Consumption
True Differential Inputs Reject Common Mode Noise
