Austria Microsystems released new ADC for low power applications

The new AS1526/27, 10 bit Analog to Digital Converter(ADC) family from Austria Micro Systems works at sampling speeds of 73 ksps and consumes a maximum of only 4milliwatts.
Due it's low power consumption and high speed, it's recommended for portable data acquisition systems, including remote sensors or pen digitizers.

Some of the key features are,
Can operate from a voltage of 2.7 to 5.25V.
Software enabled low power mode to consume only 0.3 micro amps.
SPI, QSPI and a microwire-compatible interface.
Integrated 2.5V reference voltage.
Internal clock but also support external clock.
Temp. range of -40 to 85 Deg C.
Package: 8 pin SOIC.
