Replace Exar's old UART XR16L784 with new advanced XR16V794

Exar's new four channel UART XR16V794 is pin compatible with XR16L784.

This low voltage 64 byte FIFO UART has below features.

Serial Data rates upto 8Mbps.
I/P voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V
5V tolerant I/Ps
Saves external buffers by providing direct interface to system bus.
Presence of flat register set to save software development time.
Integrates global interrupt source register provides faster interrupt servicing and to monitor interrupt service request.
RTS / CTS or DTR /DSR automatic hardware and software flow control
Automatic RS- 485 half-duplex direction control with programmable turn-around delay which compensates for the customary signal propagation delay in long cable length network installations.
Programmable TX and RX FIFO trigger levels
Wireless infrared (IrDA) encoder/decoder
Device identification and a sleep mode wake- up indicator.
Fractional baud rate generator

The device driver are available for Operating Systems:Windows CE 4.2 and 5.0, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, XP and Linux
