Linear"s LDOs can take I/P voltage of 4-80V and deliver O/P voltage of 1.2 - 60V @ 250mA

LT3012/LT3013, the new LDOs from Linear Technology are best suitable for power-supplies working from high I/P voltage such as telecom's 48V power line and Automotive power line. These are small in size and possess better thermal handling capabilities.
