Galaxy S 4G and SII X smartphones powered by Anadigics' power amp ICs
ANADIGICS, Inc. has shipped production volumes of its AWT6622and AWT6624fourth generation High-Efficiency-at-Lower-Power (HELP4) power amplifiers (PAs) to Samsung Electronics for the new Galaxy S 4G and Galaxy SII X smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S 4G, available through T-Mobile, provides a 4-inch display, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 1 GHz processor, and Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy SII X, available through Telus, offers a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.5 inch display, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
