Motion control line to control 40 coordinated axes at high speed and precision

A new set of motion control products which includes motion controller, servo motors, servo drives and motion configuration software launched by control systems product maker Emerson.



The new PACMotion servo motion control portfolio is designed for large-scale manufacturing applications such as product-packaging, printing, material handling, food processing, and even semiconductor chip manufacturing.

To ensure seamless integration, the new PACMotion PMM345 motion controller operates exclusively with PACSystems RX3i controllers.

Emerson says its patented technology features jerk-free positioning and prevents material slippage and production losses and improves machine efficiency. On-the-floor process managers can implement changeovers without disrupting the production with on-the-fly electronic configuration so that they can maximise machine utilisation.
