AR unveils new high power amps for high-rel applications

AR released high-power 6000W1000 amplifier and also upgraded three Class A solid-state, broadband amplifiers; models 1000S1G2z5B, 2500A225B, and 5000A225B. These products target applications such as automotive, military, and aviation.

The 6000 watts CW capable 6000W1000 can be operated in the frequency range of over 80 - 1000 MHz allowing for conventional high field strength radiated immunity testing, use with a multi-tone system, or use with multiple antennas to combine in free space for higher field strengths.

The solidstate broadband Class A amplifier 1000S1G2z5B model alternative to the 1000S1G2z5A can deliver 1000 watts from 1 GHz - 2.5 GHz. It is suggested as optimal for radar pulse testing for both military and automotive.

Another solidstate 2500A225B broadband amplifier delivers up to 2500 watts of CW power from 10 kHz - 225 MHz for applications where instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and linearity are required. This model replaces the 2500A225A.

The 5000Watts capable 5000A225B can work in the range of from 10 kHz - 225 MHz and is suitable for wide range of automotive, military, and aviation EMC testing, as well as various applications that require instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and linearity. This model replaces the 5000A225A.
